In 1995, Photon's CTO was India's first Java Programmer creating products and solutions for web-based customer support communicating over the internet via XML-based remote procedure calls.​

At Stanford, he creates a thesis around "Mediated Agents" to automate common tasks such as shopping, travel booking using a Map Reduce model for Agentic Artificial Intelligence Automation.​

Having raised $7mn before graduation, the brothers started their first company to monetize consumer facing Agentic solutions, except for the dotcom collapse which forced a pivot into agentic solutions for the enterprise.​

The foundations for the Machine-Readable Agentic web were supposed to be the Semantic Web and Web Services standards, and as co-authors of both W3C specifications, there was a hypothesis that this wave would be real.​

This was the "Ice Age" of Artificial Intelligence which led to the eventual pivot into "API Management" and sale to webMethods/SoftwareAG for a respectable $40mn.​

Thereafter as Photon, the founders built one of the largest and most successful Digital Transformation consultancies as a Mobile First agency serving over 40% of the Fortune 100.​

Long story short, we are now in the veritable "Heat Wave" of Agentic Artificial Intelligence which serves as much as a coming home for the founding team of where it all began.​
